We recently upgraded from Moodle 1.9 to Moodle 2.6.1+ (Build: 20140117).
The ILP 2.0 block has been installed.
I created a report named SMART Target and a number of issues have arisen with this.
- I added a state selector to this report, named ‘Target Status’. The options available in the selector are ‘’in progress’, ‘achieved’ and ‘not achieved’. A count of SMART Targets that are achieved appears on the home page for the ILP (where the Archives, Entries and Reports tabs are visible). However, when a target’s state is set to 'achieved', the count of targets achieved is not updated.
- I created two text / textarea fields, called ‘Target’ and ‘Actions’ respectively. When setting a new target, the target is entered in the 'Target' field and the actions to be carried out in order to achieve the target are entered in the Actions field. A user will normally press the enter key so that each action appears on a new paragraph in the ‘Actions’ field. However, only one paragraph appears when a target is saved, making the layout untidy.
- I also included a ‘Date Achieved’ field (this appeared on the old PLP for Moodle 1.9 when a target was achieved). However, a target may still be marked as ‘in progress’ or ‘not achieved’ but the ‘Date Achieved’ field also appears. This is confusing. Should the date achieved appear automatically if/when the state is fed through to the count of targets achieved, thus making the 'Date Achieved' field unnecessary? I updated one of the targets for a Test User to achieved, but the date achieved did not appear automatically.
I hope that the above makes sense.
