Hi Personalised Learning forum,
Has anyone investigated Voice support for ILP 2 ?
It would be good if somebody could find the time to see if/how Nono Gong moodle module code could work with ILP 2: http://nanogong.ust.hk/moodle2.html - I'm not sure when i'll find the time although this is something i'd love to do.
Longer term i'm thinking about how moodle might get voice messages onto students own mobile & home devices. As this could work with children who don't like, or can't read, but who happily interact with tablets, mobiles & pcs:
My 5 year old & his mates could easily access feedback/report messages from their teachers & teaching assistants via their parents devices. Which could be recorded with the child while the teacher/assistant does reading practice etc.
Which brings me on to http://webinos.org/. A couple of weeks ago my wife suggested I might read my 5 year old's 1st end of year report. Luckily today I found this under a pile of paper & books , but wouldn't it be good if webinos could facilitate me effortlessly listening to the report on the car sound system as i communte to work? Professionally i'll be seeing how Turnitin's web based Voice comments work with our BA Hons students via Turnitins Moodledirect module, but i'm aware that schools, & learning support teams could do with some better e-tools to support learning
