Enrolment ::: enrol_waitlist
Maintained by Yes, that's meFlotter Totte, emeneo Plugins
If students enrol via the enrolment plugin "Waitlist & Custom course fields" they are put into a waitlist in case the maximum amount of course participants is reached. They later get enrolled automatically as soon as free seats are available. The plugin also can be used to add custom course fields. Enrollment Process:

The enrolment plugin "Waitlist enrolment & Custom course fields" makes the following enrolment process possible:

  1. user applies for course enrolment.
  2. user gets enrolled into course in case there are still free seats. In case there are no free seats, user gets put on waiting list.
  3. If free seats are available, users from waiting list automatically get enroled.

    I suggest that when a user adds itself to the waiting list, an e-mail is send to the teacher or administrator with the name of the new user and also a list of all users of the waiting list.

    Was this plugin meant to have a start time and end time for the enrollment duration to be at the time they sign up in the waitlist instead of when they are given a seat in the course?

    A new interesting feature has been added: Course fields.
    (plugin compatibility has been tested for moodle 3.1)

    Hello. The redirect from Enrolled Users to Editing the Enrolement of a User doesn't seem to work. It's a bad path with one too many redirection in its URL, a "/self/" which shouldn't be there. Will this bug be fixed in coming versions? Will there be an update of the plugin for Moodle 3.4?

    Thank you and Regards!

    Hi MM, so far those who sponsor the development of the plugin do not see any problem with that. If you or anyone else wants to fund fixing this bug, please send me a message. Thank you!
