Hello Tracy. Are you a student? I suggest you ask the people at your place of study as they will probably have special methods for that. I dont know what a USI learning nunber is, and this is the Moodle site where people discuss and download the free Moodle software, not for specific educational Moodle sites.

There are more courses on the way for developers if you keep an eye on Moodle Academy over the coming months.
Hello there! You ask good questions
Basically, Learn Moodle was the original site (dating from 2013) where we did our first MOOC and then added other courses over the past few years. Currently there are four self-paced courses on the Learn Moodle site. Moodle Academy is a much bigger project and, in time, will incorporate the courses on the Learn Moodle site. At the moment if you go to Academy, you are redirected to Learn Moodle for some courses, as you have noticed, while others increasingly are becoming available on Academy. Once Moodle 4.0 is released and we have had time to update the Learn Moodle courses, they too will be available on Moodle Academy, and you will only need one login. Of course, your badges and certificates from the Learn Moodle site will still be valid, but in future all courses will be on Moodle Academy.
What do you see when you go the course that you want students to enrol in, and you look at the enrolment methods in the actual course?
When you say "enrolling" do you mean after you have manually enrolled them into the course? If that is the case, then you can use the Announcements forum in the course which will send a message out. If you meant after they have created accounts on the site(or you have created accounts for them) which is authentication (not enrolment) then you could use the Site news for informing them.
