Yes thanks But again, I don't see why the standard course creator role in that one category won't do this, rather than a new role? A course creator assigned to a category should be able to create courses in that category, assign themselves as teacher to a course they created and enrol students into the course.

Re #2, do you mean assign themselves the role of teacher in any course, or just the courses they create?  Because otherwise I'd have thought the course creator role itself would have sufficed, but perhaps I have misunderstood your 1, 2 and 3 needs.
