To change the default color of the theme, navigate to: Site Administration → Appearance → Themes → Academi
In the Academi theme settings, select the color picker under the "Primary Color" option.
The option to enable or disable the block drawer globally while keeping it visible on the Dashboard is not available in Moodle or the Academi theme settings.

I notice a certain slowdown when I load my website using your theme.
I´ve executed a testing using a well know WebTester service and I got the following:
By default, references to external JavaScript files will block the page from rendering while they are fetched and executed. Often, these files can be loaded in a different manner, freeing up the page to visually render sooner.

This site was quick to connect and deliver initial code. It began rendering content with little delay. There were 9 render-blocking requests. The largest content rendered later than ideal.

4 externally-referenced CSS files are blocking page rendering.
By default, references to external CSS files will block the page from rendering while they are fetched and executed. Sometimes these files _should_ block rendering, but can be inlined to avoid additional round-trips while the page is waiting to render. Sometimes, such as with stylesheets that are only used for loading custom fonts, inline or async CSS can greatly improve perceived performance.

In total it takes ~7/8 seconds to render the initial page. Honestly this is a weak performance indicator.

I staged a site from Moodle 4.5 to Moodle 5.0 and the theme does not seem to work properly.
When will there be a version compatible with 5.0 ?

We’re currently in the process of reviewing and updating the theme for compatibility with Moodle 5.0.
The Moodle 5.0-compatible version is scheduled for release within a week.

The Academi theme has released version 2025042200 for Moodle 4.5, which also includes support for Moodle 5.0 and resolves style issues.
The Academi theme has been released with support for the latest Moodle version v5.0 (2025042900).
Good to know:
On a moodle 4.5 installing directly version 2025042900 does not work it says it misses 2025042200 and boost
So I installed 2025042200 on moodle 4.5, then upgraded to moodle 5.0 then installed version 202504900
And so it works fine
