The Dynamo tool is based on a peer evaluation of group dynamics. Each student is asked to evaluate the other members of his or her learning group on several dimensions (responsibility, expertise, attitude, etc.), and to evaluate himself or herself. These evaluations are then processed to

  • provide teachers with indicators that allow them to diagnose at a glance which groups are in difficulty and which dimensions of collaboration need to be addressed.
  • objectify, on the basis of self and peer evaluations, the potential conflicts and the degree of commitment of each member in a group.
  • provide teachers with tangible information, anchored in student assessments, to discuss with them any problems encountered in their group during the course of the work.
  • offer teachers, on the basis of these same assessments, the possibility of weighting the collective work by an individual mark reflecting the contribution made by each student, based on the validated NIWF implication indicator.
It's developped by the UCLouvain belgian university since 2019 and follow the development of the moodle plugin TeamUp made to create the groups based on crieria.

The main contributors are Bruno Schoumaker, Philippe Bocquier, Patrick Gérin, Andreia Lemaître, Séverine Gossiaux, Marie Demoulin and Isabelle Motte.

    Hello,
I find your plugin great, it perfectly meets the needs of some teachers for peer assessment within our establishment.
    I have two comments however:
    - In French, there is a fault "Critère 5 : Attitude gémnérale" to be replaced by générale
    - Would it be possible to choose the title of the criterion as well as the description, this allowed a more varied use and it is now blocking for the teachers I work with because they wish to evaluate other criterion .

    Thanks in advance

    Hi Marion,

Thank you, for your remarks. The translation was corrected and validated. For the title of the criterion, it's not suitable because they're the fundation for the reporting. they only had a sixth criterion that can be named but that is not used for reporting.

    Dominique.

Hi, we use the plugin in Moodle 4.3 with no problem. But I don't make for now a new version. I will test it on 4.4 too. And make a new release.

Hello, I test this plugin on Moodle 4.5 because we use it on our Moodle 4.1 in production and we plan an updoad to Moodle 4.5 this summer.
My tests are not ok with Moodle 4.5 actually. Have you plan an update sooner for this Moodle version or not ?
Thanks in advance for your feedback

Thanks a lot for the reactivity and for the last update for Moodle 4.5.
It works fine now in Moodle 4.5. I steel have a bug to access to dynamo if I use the Theme "Adaptable" on my test environment, but you probably have nothing to do with it དགའ་འཛུམ་
