The Course Contacts block displays a list of users on your course, various
methods for communicating with them, and their current activity status.

The Course Contacts block displays a list of users on your course and various
methods for communicating with them.
The block is highly customisable and allows you to choose specific roles which
you wish to display users from. By default the block will show teachers on the
course but this can be changed however you wish.
You can also configure which communication types you wish to show, the block
can provide quick links to Email, Message or Telephone each user.
The block also shows whether the user has been active in the last five minutes.

The Course Contacts block remains empty after installing it, adding it as a block in the sidebar and editing the settings.
I am using a teacher account and wish to have a list of contacts to be available. The block is visible, no members (any role) are visible. Currently there are 1 student and 1 admin logged in to Moodle.
Is this a version issue?
The course contact block shows correctly the list of teachers in the course page, but in the activities pages of the same course, the liste of teachers is empty. what is the problem? I am using Moodle 3.1.1
Today I try upgrade to a new version 2017100100 (Version 3.2).
However, after the upgrade, that occurred without error in the plugin page manager, the virtual rooms with the plugin stopped working, displaying HTTP 500 error.
I downgraded the version to be able to solve the problem.

Course contacts: 3.1 (2017070100)
Moodle 3.2.5 (Build: 20170911)
Any update to Moodle 3.4?

I use your plugin CourseConstacts and it's a really good tool. But I have a question about it : I created a new role (duplicate from teacher role), but it's not active by default and I must activate it for every new course on "Roles to show" part.
Where can I change this property for all courses on my moodle site ?

about role activation with an update sql, it's ok, I understand (but it's not really easy !!). another problem : Email option is activate on blocks, but it's not a "mailto" and we need to config email options for any user in the lists of the course_contacts. Is it possible to automate this feature or is it better to use the notification option (and then, how to deactivate email option for all the blocks course_contacts) ?
