Bonjour Daniel - intéressant - il semble que cette option n'existe pas pour la question dont tu parles - il s'agit d'une question calculée à choix multiple, non pas d'une question [simple] à choix multiple - je vais regarder dans le tracker..

Hello Michal (and Davo) To see the record button in the Essay quiz question the teacher needs to specify in the Response format when setting up the quiz "HTML editor with file picker'" as mentioned in the documentation Essay question type.

Do the students themselves have it turned on in their personal notification settings?

The short answer is, yes, you can make changes to a Moodle course once it has been published and people are enrolled in it.
