Just to clarify (because I was confused a bit at first) This is a site you have taken over and you would like some help with the guest access working in Firefox and with having a logout button? I've changed the title of your post to reflect this.

Bear in mind the site is a very old site (1.9 or 2.0 beta)

Georg - I just noticed you duplicated this in another forum thread so I'll delete the other one and reply to this. You are suffering from MDL-50446 and for the time being the workaround is to go into your main menu which I see you have and change those three items to open "automatic" instead of in a New Window or pop up. That should then allow you to edit the rest of the page.

It is VERY useful to have a screenshot; thanks smile

Darlene - you should have a course there on your site called "Introduction to Moodle" which gives you a basic overview of what is there. It also links to the docs Guide for new administrators which is a good starting place (and our free beginners course in August Learn Moodle https://learn.moodle.net/ )

Hello Geoff. This is not a real answer at all, sorry, but I have on a couple of occasions installed Moodle on Windows and I got to exactly the same place as you - I thought I was stuck but I navigated back to the front page via the browser and found I could actually do other stuff Ok. So it's worth trying before others come along with the correct responsesmile
