Which Dataform version do you have?

The csv view type allows you to export/import csv data. Not all field types support the csv format though. If you have a lot of data to migrate, it may be worth while to write a migration script. If it's not a lot of data, it would have to be a combination of export/import some and reconstructing some. The latest version allows you to import entry info (author, group, time, etc.) and update existing entries.

Unfortunately there is no automated upgrade from 2.5. You will need to review the setup of the restored activity and make adjustments manually. hth
