a) You need to be using the topics format
b) You need to have "advanced interfaces" turned on in your user profile.

1) You can update the whole site via CVS.  Most testers should be doing this.

2) The bugs contain information about the changes, in the "Version Control" tab, with links to a lot of specific information.  See MDL-6431 for example.

Me three!   The problem is only on IE (Firefox is fine).

Both fields have size=15 and SHOULD be the same.

I'd love it if someone could solve this for good.

Use an Assignment of type "Offline".   That's exactly what it's meant for.  The grades will appear in the normal gradebook along with other activities.

If you want to student to reflect on that assignment you can add a Wiki or an "online" Assignment.

It hasn't, it's there.
