I haven't used moodle with a class before; but, as I explore the features for possible use, I wondered about end of year student management options. Is it possible, for example, to select and delete multiple users at the end of a course through the administration interface? And, is it possible to select and move multiple students into a new course?
Not really - but its a good idea. Have you looked at groups - that might help you with some of your requirements.
