I am using the workshop activity for a programming course. It has been great for students to learn from other peers since a simple task can be written in so many ways . But a problem I have faced is that the workshop activity does not accept submissions in .py (python scripts) or .ipynb (ipython notebooks) formats. So the students have to add the .txt extension, submit the file, and then the peer will have to download the file, remove the .txt extension, and then evaluate. Although it is a simple process , it is cumbersome and adds some unedeed complexity that makes them do it wrong. Is there a way to add more file types/extensions to the submission options?
