Good day. I have the necessary language packs installed.

Is it possible to change the Full site name, Short name and front page summary according to the language you select (Front page settings)?

Thanks

Please see the documentation on how to handle multiple languages: https://docs.moodle.org/311/en/Multi-language_content_filter

Thanks Randy.  I did work through this article, but these filters only seem to work for course content and not the actual site name and description.

Ah, yes, the issue sounds familiar. Check out this discussion in the language forum https://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=423589 and solution using the Multi-Language Content 2 plugin https://moodle.org/plugins/filter_multilang2.

Thanks again for your help.  I am using the Multi_language Content 2 plugin.  I think that the site name is excluded from these settings and only works for certain elements in Moodle (like courses, etc).

Is your filter set to Content AND Headings? Check Site admin > Plugins > Filters > Manage filter

Also, have a look at the Content Translation Filter - https://moodle.org/plugins/filter_fulltranslate/translations

Thanks.  I just confirmed that it is indeed Content and Headings.

I will have a look at the Content Translation Filter.  Thank you
