Hello,
I have now Moodle 3.9.

I have the same problem as in May [https://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=402704] :

For quiz activities, the grades are not saved, they do not appear in the grade book, and the activity is not completed.
Teachers see student activity in the logs, but not attempts .

Permissions and roles are correct and have not been changed.

Quiz results are not recorded for all students and for all courses.
No error log for the cron, but "cron obsolete" : What does it mean ? can it be related?
what can I do ? where can i look?

You say "Permissions and roles are correct and have not been changed." How have you verified that?

(I suggest you use Quiz settings -> Check permissions, and check the permissions for one of the users who had problems.)

The issue was fixed by clearing the caches and relaunching the Cron. Thanks to Daniel for doing it. and thank you for looking for a solution smile
