Hi!

I am running a course on Moodle, with 41 registered students, that do a lot of work mainly in three groups of forums, three forums in each. That makes a total of nine forums (that I am mainly interested in). Now I would like quick and easy overview of their activity in these forums - is there any tools for that?

I know I can look at each user and have an overview of posts in all forums, but for one user at the time. Is there any way of doing this for the whole course group, for instance as a spreadsheet? As moodle runs on a sql database, I would believe that a sql query would give me this, but that is beyond my sql competencies.

(The reason for my interest is to 1. follow up on acitivity demands, 2. quickly identify not active students and target them for interventions)

Any advice warmly welcome. Statistics and overview of courses like these is difficult, I think, even though Moodle gives me more information than most other tools I have seen.
