Hi all,

I've just added a new journal version in https://moodle.org/plugins/view.php?plugin=mod_journal for Moodle 2.7; the previous version was working as well, but this is the official release and the one I will be updating (only bug backports to 2.6).

We need to specially thank AL Rachels (https://moodle.org/user/profile.php?id=94615) for his contribution in this release as he removed all notices and debugging messages as well as converting the add_to_log() calls to the new events system (http://docs.moodle.org/dev/Event_2) Thanks AL.

Please, if you notice any new issue during these first days of testing and deployment comment about it here in the journal forums, on the tracker contrib component or on the github project page (https://github.com/dmonllao/moodle-mod_journal).

Next step towards the code cleanup would be to write unit and acceptance tests for it so we will detect quickly when we are breaking something during the cleanup.

I'm not sure if you can answer this but.....  In Journals can you limit how many days a student can post to a Journal.

Hi Kim,

'Days available' setting should be what you are looking for.

Hi there!  I have a journal entry due each week for my students.  I'd like this to be an ongoing journal vs 15 separate journal assignments.  However, I'd like to grade each week's submission and provide feedback.  Is that possible or do I need to place separate Journal activities each week?  I have my course set up in Content Modules vs Weekly...

Thanks!
