Course instructors manually enroll users in courses by adding them as attendees in a face-to-face session. Once added to a session, individuals do appear to be enrolled in the course, but their role assignments are blank. Therefore, they do not appear in the gradebook, and offline assignments cannot be graded unless the instructor manually changes their role in the course.
In the manual enrollments setup screen for the course the default role is "student." Any idea how make sure users are enrolled as "students" when they are added as an attendee in a session?
