Student view while in Gradebook

Am using Moodle 2.2 version.  In the Gradebook Settings and My Preferences, I have all settings marked as default.

When my students go and look at their grades, they say that they only see the most recent grade that is posted.  I have some online assignments and test within the course. For the assignments and tests that they have taken so far, the EYE is open.  Seems that they can only see the most recent grade for both the assignment and test. They can not see any of he earlier ones. I think that they see an average for the assignments as well, but not 100% sure on this.

I have gone in as a student and had a student log in to see what they see or not.  And in both cases, the above issue is true.

Any suggestions of how to correct this so that they can see everything that they have taken?

Can you post a picture of your Categories & Items page? This would give us a better look of how you have the gradebook set up.

Seems like there was a regression of an issue whereby grades were hidden in the gradebook if they were hidden on the course page (not necessarily eye-closed in the gradebook).  Could this be your problem?

It's hard to tell by the image but are some of your grade items locked? If the grade items are locked before a grade is entered, students will not see anything until the grade items are unlocked. You will see the grades in the grader report even if they are locked.
