I am trying to deploy a number of NLN LO's on my XP based XAMP Moodle 1.9 system.

Fromm the editing resources screen I am adding the files as follows:

1. Add resource

2. Add an IMS content package

3. Location - Choose or upload a file

Then a blank window opens with the URL http://localhost/files/index.php it then takes around 2 minutes for the the file list to appear - I can then browse the file list and upload the file as normal. The files deploy in a reasonable time too.

Has anyone come across this problem on this setup before?

Hi Les. While I can't help with this particular problem, have you taken a look at the relevant pages on our NLN site?

http://www.nln.ac.uk/?p=Noodle - a page dedicated to our "NLN Materials browser for Moodle" (or "Noodle") plug-in, which provides easy access for tutors and learners to the whole library of NLN materials, without having to download them. Note that Noodle is currently in beta, but we're planning to release version 1.0 next week.
