Poodll is a toolbox of features for Moodle, including audio and video recording, whiteboards, media players for the classroom and widgets such as tabs and stopwatches. Poodll was designed for language learners and teachers, though its so flexible that it is used in many other contexts too.
Audio and Video Recorders The Poodll audio and video recording system is highly advanced technically and pedagogically. It uses HTML5 recorders where it can and falls back to older technology if necessary. Different HTML5 recorder skins are available for different purposes (or just for appearance) and all recordings are converted to a format that can be played back universally. |

Whiteboards Poodll includes whiteboards that can be used by the teacher for content creation, or by students when submitting assignments or forum posts. Use them for annotating diagrams or photographs, or just at your own creative whim. |

Players for the classroom Poodll has lots of different audio and video players. Some play back just once (or twice, or three times), some have interactive captions, some are tiny, and some popup. If you need a different type of player, just let us know. |

Widgets Poodll includes an extremely powerful templating system that powers both the players and widgets. This allows Poodll to bundle a truly amazing array of widgets. There are:

if poodll is ready for moodle 3.3
On the Moodle platforms that I manage, I have installed and configured the modules related to POODLL for more than a year. Since last October 31, I have problems when inserting a video using POODLL, either in a task or in a description of an activity. I have activated the debug mode of one of the platforms I work on, and this is the error stack when inserting a video:
Notice: cURL request for "http://tokyo.poodll.com:443/poodll/snapshot.jsp?poodllserverid=poodll&filename=272307633887976.png&caller=http%3A%2F%2Fwww3.gobiernodecanarias.org%2Fmedusa%2Feforma%2Fcampus" failed, HTTP response code: HTTP / 1.1 500 Internal Server Error

From what you can see, there are problems with the Tokyo server that Poodll uses to convert and insert the videos. Does something happen with this server? How can I fix the problem? Many users use this tool daily, so I have many users who do not know what to do.
The version of moodle that we are in is version 3.1.1. And I use the Poodll 2 modules, the free version.
Thank you very much in advance.
Poodll2 and video recording via Red5 are not technologies that will work forever. Please look at Poodll3 which supports HTML5 recording when you have a chance.
We suddently after updating to Moodle 3.3.3+ (Build: 20171201) get this error - ReferenceError: ip is not defined, in the Create media file window. https://www.screencast.com/t/AxrDruqt
We click the camera to create media, then we allow the use of integrated camera, and microfone, then press record, and then the error appears.
I have been over all the settings, but none seems to be altered, so it should be standard settings.
But It didn't work.
How can I use poodll2?
I have tried to install poodll on my totara version 11 but its giving an error
" Totara 2016052300
filter_poodll (2016081401) Missing "
Does any one have any idea how to solve this issue or poodle did not support totara .
Any help on this thread would be much more appreciated.
I am looking forward to hearing from you as soon as possible.

You need the Poodll filter for the other Classic Poodll plugins. It is a dependency. The version number in your post is really old though. If you can not get it working contact Poodll support at https://poodll.com/contact or visit the support pages at https://support.poodll.com/
Because I'm Spanish teacher I need a tool like speechnote so my students can improve their pronunciation, does Poodll have something like this?
Thanks and Regards
María
