Tabs separate content by heading and are an efficient way to organize data and avoid lots of scrolling. These tabs are Jquery-UI tabs. Add tabs, and between the Generico tab tags nest as many Generico tabitems as you need. You can not put bullet points inside tabs.

About this plugin

This plugin is a template that can be used with the Generico filter. Read more about Generico and templates here.

Installing this plugin.

After downloading, unzip the downladed file. Inside will be a template text file with a .txt file extension. You do not need to edit or open the file. It can be imported as is by dragging it over the green bundle box on a Generico template settings page.

See this page for more information how to do that.

Using this plugin

If the template is installed and the Generico filter enabled. You only need to put the Generico filter string on the page, and it will work. The Generico filter has a companion plugin for Atto HTML editor (not yet for TinyMCE). This can auto generate the Generico filter strings for you, and is the recommended way to use Generico.

    Hello,
Congratulations on your plugin, it is very useful for the entire community.
Regarding the "tabs" feature, https://moodle.org/plugins/view.php?id=2089, do you know if it is compatible with Moodle 4.0?
Because I did a test following the tutorial and the tabs don't appear.
Thank you very much in advance for your help.

Hi Bruno. The widgets here out of date unfortunately. But the tabs included with Generico filter and Poodll filter should work all the way up to the latest version of Moodle (4.4). There can be several reasons why the tabs don't appear. The most basic is that either i) the filter is not enabled in the site administration (see manage filters) or ii) the tabs and tabitems templates have not been set up (see the templates section of the filter settings in the site administration)
