This tool will synchronize data from Moodle LMS to Leeloo LXP.

For your convenience, you can also use the Leeloo LXP Synchronization block, for quick and easy settings.

It allows administrators and authorized personnel to use the Time Tracking features (additional plugins are required).

This plugin will synchronize:

• Courses
• Sections
• Activities and Resources
• Enrolled Users and Roles
• Groups

Note: you can choose which categories, courses, sections and activities/resources you wish to sync.

Setup:

Go to Admin > Plugins > Leeloo LXP Activities and Resource Synchronizer and input your provided license key.

The Synchronizer:

Go to Admin > Courses > Sync Activities/Resources/Quizzes with Leeloo LXP

The Synchronizer has 2 views:

• Main page: a list of categories and their courses 

• Course page: the Activities/Resources in the course 

Main page:

Shows whether a course is synced or not.

• Click on ADD to open the course page and choose the Activities/Resources you wish to sync.
• Once synced, you can Edit the Activities/Resources (sync or unsync some of them), Unsync the whole course or Resync the Activities/Resources already synced.

Course page:

This page shows a list of the Activities/Resources available in the course and 2 columns. With the checkboxes on the left, you can select the Activities/Resources for regular synchronization. The checkboxes on the right are used for the cheat prevention engine and remote assessments module (additional plugins are required to use the remote assessments module)

Once the chosen Activities/Resources are synced, they will be added as tasks in the Leeloo LXP management engine. Every task will then have a version for every student enrolled in the course, for time tracking and reporting purposes. The authorized teachers will have access to their students’ progress on their dashboard and the Student Relationship Management module.

Users synchronization

Based on your settings in the Leeloo LXP SSO plugin, the users enrolled in the synced courses can be automatically created and/or activated in Leeloo LXP, based on their roles in the course. They will also be placed in their respective group(s) in the course and in specific positions in the Leeloo LXP hierarchy (for advanced permissions if required), again based on the settings in the Leeloo LXP SSO plugin.

Automatic syncing

Once the course is synced, the newly enrolled students will be created and their versions for every selected Activities/Resources will also be created (based on your settings in the Leeloo LXP SSO plugin).

If a user’s profile information is later edited in Moodle, this information will also be synced in Leeloo LXP.

The plugin will also sync (add, edit and delete) the courses categories.

Grades and completion

The plugin will also synchronize the relevant Moodle events to Leeloo LXP, including students grades and completion tracking, for the dashboards (student and teacher), the Student Relationship Management and reporting purposes.
