Rocket is a professional high customisable theme for those who wish their Moodle site to look less moodley. It is a fixed width theme with multiple block locations.

As this is an advanced theme using some very new Moodle 2 functions (I don't think used yet in other themes) I strongly recommend reading the documemtation via the link below.

A demo of this theme in action can be seen at http://features.demo.moodle.com.au/

Please view the sample screenshot below to see an image identifying key theme features.

Should you have issues with the using the theme, please post your comments in the forums. If you have a bug or a patch, please post these in the Moodle Tracker using the link below

Hi i love the look of the theme but when i install it i get a problem. the home page has a plugin error report which amongs other thigs says:

    Question import/export formats
    [pluginname,qformat_qti_two] /question/format/qti_two Extension No database

this appears on the home page and i can do nothing as i cant get passed this page.

if i delete the rocket theme the problem goes away.

Hands up i am new to moodle doing all this on my own, so the answer may be simple and obvious, but not to me. any help explained in simple terms would be great.

version of moodle is Moodle 2.2+ (Build: 20111223)

Each time I upload the theme to my server I get the following error message when I press the Change theme button:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/clickeng/public_html/theme/rocket/lib.php on line 1

Hi, after reading all the comments my problem seems so stupid, but I can't find the answer to it. I can't change the color in the settings. I can select it in the color selector but after saving it it just stays the same. Any idea on how I can fix this without changing the core css?

    Hi,
I like the Rocket theme, but when I was translating it into spanish, I noticed something strange in one English language string in themecolordesc:

"What color should your theme be. This will change mulitple components to produce the color you wish across the moodle site"

"mulitple" should be "multiple" (I think).

Thanks in advance for your help

    Hi,
    Another possible typo:
the string about the trim color description, themetrimcolordesc:

"What color should your theme be. This will change mulitple components to produce the color you wish across the moodle site"

Should be something like ""What color should the trim for your theme be? This will change multiple components to produce the color you wish across the moodle site"" (I think, but I am not a native English speaker).

Thanks in advance for your help.

This is my new all time favorite theme for Moodle, I just pray Julian plans to update it as Moodle updates. I've created several sites using this theme and would love to see what others have done with it as well. Please include a link to your site so we can see how you have implemented this theme. If you know of someone else who used this theme on their site please include a link as well. All fields are optional.

Love the theme! I am new to version 2. When I turn on editing, I don't have an icon to move my blocks. I can drag and drop them however it doesn't allow me to drop them in your new links or search area. How can I add a block to these?
    Thanks, Karen

Quick note.. I disabled Ajax so that I could see the move Icon. When I click it to move the block I don' thave any options to move to these new locations i.e to have the extra menu in the grey area.
    Thanks, Karen

Julian, we are on Moodle version 2.4 and using Rocket as theme successfully, however the latest plugin Navigation Buttons does not work with our theme Rocket. It does however work if we change to standard themes. Need some assistance with this.
    Thanks, Laetitia

Would like to use this theme on Moodle 2.4, but I can't get the banner picture to load unless running in Theme designer mode. I've tried the patches and info in the bug tracker, but still not working. Any info would be really good.

    Hi Everyone
Great theme. I've been using it for over a year now. However, with my recent upgrade to rocket for moodle version 2.5 moments ago (about 10:30 UTC-4 ... 7/10/2013) I realized that the LOGIN BLOCK is on the RIGHT side of the front page. Previously it was on the LEFT. When I navigate to site administration/plugins/blocks/manage blocks...I realise that the login block is protected or locked. Clicking on the lock icon does nothing.
Is there a way to change the position of this login field to the LEFT SIDE of the front page.
PS: With editing turned on, the login block is nowhere to be found on the front page (I am using Moodle 2.5+ (Build: 20130621))

Hello I have an issue with the rocket theme. I downloaded and
installed in my moodle theme directory then ran the upgrade, when I go to change themes the browse goes to a blank screen and just sits there. Inorder to correct this I have to go to the index.php and uninstall rocket. I have installed several themes and have had no trouble with them I have tried to install rocket several times with the same results. Does anyone know if this is a common problem and is there a fix for it.
    thank
