Klass Theme Version 4.2

A new Modern Responsive moodle theme ‘Klass’ has been released for your online e-learning websites. This is a very very modern theme suitable for your school/college/university and other online educational websites. , This theme is fully responsive meaning your readers can enjoy viewing your site on android/ios / all devices for a seamless experience.

The Klass theme has been discontinued, and its style has been incorporated as a preset within the Academi theme!

We have multiple themes to manage. The process of reviewing each version upgrade, addressing bugs, and ensuring compatibility with the latest Moodle release is time-consuming, leading to delays in the themes' release. As a result, we decided to stop upgrading the eGuru, Klass, and Enlightlite themes after Moodle version 4.2. However, we have integrated the Klass theme style as a preset, along with additional features, into the Academi theme. In the future, we plan to release new presets with additional features and improvements.

    Hello,

I'm trying to autostart the slideshow as well. Unfortunately, I'm not javascript savvy at all. I noticed the above code you have to start the slidesshow without clicking on it. You stated I need to add the open/close javascript tag. Which tag am I using? Sorry such a dumb question. Thanks.

Hello again. Is there a way that I could place specific courses on the frontpage? It's currently listed new courses I've added to the site. Can I change this?

    Hi Larry,

To make your slider auto start you need to add a tiny script , kindly refer the previous comments , we have guided for it.
In frontpage course list , we have listed the available courses from the admin enabled default settings of available course , In this version we don't give any option to choose specific courses , will try to bring that functionality in our next version , If you need to have that option in your website you can contact us for the basic premium customization

    Thanks

how to add these buttons? I have no reason in the template
And when you're available to translate the remaining words, such as "Readmore >>" "INFO" and "CONTACT US", or tell me how to translate them yourself?

    Hi Александр Козлов,

Please login as Administrator and go to SiteAdministration >> Appearance >> themes >> theme settings >> custom menu items field and change the menu as per your need.
To make the language translate we must need to do changes with lang files , you can do one thing go to root folder >> theme >> klass >> lang >> en >> theme_klass.php inside this file each title used in the theme is defined just copy this php file and create a new lang folder like "en" if your language is french you need to create fr folder and place theme_klass.php inside it and change the content of your language.

Please feel free to ask if you have any questions.

    Hi!

I have started to translate this theme into Norwegian, but I bump into some problems during translations of the "HOME"-button and some of the text in the footer, "Phone, beside the icon" and the "E-mail, beside the icon".

How can I translate those strings? I have used the CSS "after" method on the "Contact us"

-tag in the footer, but I can't do the same where there's an icon. Are there somebody that have an explanation/method for how to change those strings?

    Sincerely,
Memet Ødegaard Cataltepe, IT-Technician @ eFaktor AS (moodlepartner Norway)

    Hello,
Most of my links are disable, even when I login as the administrator the "Add activity or resource" displays as text and not as a link. Has anyone encountered this before? and Fixed?
    Please help.

    Hi Benjamin,

Change the theme to some other and switch it back, and see if this fixes the problem, also try clearing site caches (admin/purgecaches.php).

    Hello Kh,
Many thanks indeed for the tip, it has worked smile [changing theme worked, purgechaches din't]
However, I now have have 20000+ users, will I have to "undress" my web any time a random key user hides their blocks?
We hope the next Klass theme version will provide a way to restore docked blocks.
    Cheers,

    Hi,
When hiding a single course item (like a file) the icon is dimmed but not the text. Adding dimmed_text as class next to the instancename call produces the expected output.
