Klass Theme Version 4.2

A new Modern Responsive moodle theme ‘Klass’ has been released for your online e-learning websites. This is a very very modern theme suitable for your school/college/university and other online educational websites. , This theme is fully responsive meaning your readers can enjoy viewing your site on android/ios / all devices for a seamless experience.

The Klass theme has been discontinued, and its style has been incorporated as a preset within the Academi theme!

We have multiple themes to manage. The process of reviewing each version upgrade, addressing bugs, and ensuring compatibility with the latest Moodle release is time-consuming, leading to delays in the themes' release. As a result, we decided to stop upgrading the eGuru, Klass, and Enlightlite themes after Moodle version 4.2. However, we have integrated the Klass theme style as a preset, along with additional features, into the Academi theme. In the future, we plan to release new presets with additional features and improvements.

I have downloaded the .zip for the theme but when I try to extract it it says that the file is corrupt or damaged. I am using Moodle version 2.8.

    Hello
I'd really like a precise answer to my differents questions:
Where is the text of NEW COURSES on the front page as it is not in theme_klass.php?
How do I take away the Read More Buttons which are very annoying under the pictures of Courses and in the slideshow?
And how do I take away the caption zone on the slideshow?
    Looking forward to your answers.
    Best Regards

    Hi Josick Guermeur,

I believe you can find the lang key "newcourses" in the theme / klass / lang / en / theme_klass.php and change the string , so you can see the changes in homepage frontend. Also you can remove or change read more text in the theme / klass / renderers / core_renderer.php line number around 73 and 192.

To manage slideshow image and contents , please go to Appearance >> themes >> klass >> slide show settings and can change it.

Let me know if you have any questions.

I already worked that out by modifying course_renderer.php and slideshow.php, much cleaner look: http://www.xtrema.fr/training/

    Hello Josick,

Sorry for I took long to reply to you, buh Nephzat has explained it better than me, I also had my "read more" stuff changed here: https://elearning.strathmore.edu/
@Nephzat: many thanks indeed for the theme, my boss said it is "delicious" wink

    Cheers,

Actually I wanted to entirely have the read more buttons disappear as well as the captions, which I did removing their call from course renderer.php and slideshow.php
Contrary to what Nephzat mentione, this cannot be done for the slideshow from the theme settings.
