Advacheck
We are delighted to introduce Advacheck, a cutting-edge service born from years of extensive research and development by our team, in collaboration with academic experts from universities across multiple countries. Advacheck is a comprehensive solution dedicated to promoting academic integrity in educational and research settings. It is a modern tool designed to detect text and image similarities in various types of academic work, including assignments, coursework, theses, dissertations, scientific publications, and more. Advacheck is an invaluable resource for students, educators, researchers, scientists, libraries, and publishing houses, supporting their efforts to maintain high standards of academic and scholarly excellence.
Comprehensive search across Publisher and Open-Access Collections
The advancement of high-quality similarity searches, particularly in academic and scientific domains, has been significantly enhanced through the deployment of Advacheck’s distinctive and effective algorithms, which generate optimized queries. These algorithms work in tandem with extensive and diverse document collections, including:
- Open-access and subscription-based repositories from partners such as Springer Nature, EBSCO, IEEE, and various regional content providers.
- An ever-expanding internet archive containing 1.4 billion documents.
- Collections maintained by higher education institutions.
- An internal repository comprising 160 million documents.
Internal organizational collection
A private collection accessible only to organizational members, ensuring that documents within this collection remain confidential and inaccessible from outside the organization.
Accurate AI-Generated Content Detection
Advacheck supports AI-generated content detection over multiple languages with remarkable precision. It is equipped to identify content from a wide range of AI models and is dynamically updated to handle emerging AI models.
Search for Similarities
Advacheck is designed to identify various forms of content similarity, ensuring a comprehensive approach to maintaining academic integrity:
- Direct Plagiarism. Detects verbatim copying without proper attribution, including both complete and patchwork (mosaic) plagiarism.
- Paraphrasing Plagiarism. Identifies rewritten ideas or passages lacking attribution, even when paraphrased using specialized tools. This feature also helps uncover "Paper Mills" that produce articles using templates across different scientific fields.
- Accidental Plagiarism. Highlights unintentional copying, such as failing to cite sources, misquoting, or inadvertently mimicking text structure and language.
- Cross-Lingual Plagiarism. Detects plagiarism through translation, where content is reproduced in a different language without proper credit. Unlike most software, Advacheck identifies similarities across over 100 languages, eliminating long-standing opportunities for misuse.
- Text Recycling (Self-Plagiarism). Flags instances of reusing substantial portions of
one’s own published work without acknowledgment, including submitting identical work to multiple outlets. - Image Plagiarism. Searches for similarities between graphics in the document and images in the database. Results are presented visually, allowing users to compare
images and review their sources. Recent studies indicate a rise in image plagiarism cases, surpassing text-related issues in some scientific journals. Advacheck addresses
this gap by offering
Comprehensive Structure-Based Analysis
Advacheck’s document analysis enables you to focus on the most relevant sections by excluding non-essential parts such as the title page, table of contents, bibliography, and more. Coupled with the lowest false positive rates in the industry this streamlines report handling and improves the accuracy of the results.
Text Manipulation Detection
Our robust system identifies attempts at text manipulation, ensuring content remains authentic and unaltered.
Customizable Reports with Flexible Sharing
Advacheck allows users to conveniently edit reports, adding comments, and easily share both full and summary versions with relevant audiences.
