@Dave Emsley: Make sure that the account you are logged into in Moodle has the same email address as a Zoom user account that is a member of the overall paid Zoom account for which the JWT app was created.

    Two things:

1- Can you add Save to local / Save to cloud option when host joined?
2- Can you add saved Zoom video links? This could be either automatically or by hand. I cannot add any Zoom lessons link from zoom.us later.

    Thanks.

Hi.... I'm testing the latest version of the Zoom plugin (v3.7, 2021041300) on our Moodle 3.10.4 (2020110904) test site. The "Enable scheduling privilege option" is on (this is a new admin setting in 3.7). This is the test I'm conducting where I'm seeing a problem:

-- User A and User B are instructors in the Moodle course.
-- In his Zoom settings, User B has assigned scheduling privileges to User A
-- User A is logged in to Moodle and goes to add a Zoom Meeting instance to the course
-- User A sees that he can schedule the meeting for both User B and User A ("Yourself").
-- When User A tries to schedule for himself (UserA), he get's an error ("You cannot schedule for the specified user") -- see link below for screenshot.

    https://ucsf.box.com/s/ja1jc7548d9flj67nlfuf5eqhgw1u5az

User A is able to create a Zoom meeting instance for User B. And User A is able to schedule a meeting when User B is not an instructor in the course (i.e., the "Schedule meeting for" option is not present). The error is produced when the "Schedule meeting for" option is present, and User A tries tries to create a meeting for himself.

Please let me know if there might be any settings that would address this problem, or if you have any questions. I can also submit an issue to the GitHub repo is that would help.

    Thanks much... Brian Warling (UCSF)

@Brian Warling: If you would be willing, please open an issue on the GitHub repo. That is far easier for us to track, triage, discuss, test and provide feedback.

There seems a big issue with The automatic Zoom license transfer feature in Moodle.

When a Basic user schedules or starts a Zoom meeting in Moodle, he will be assigned a PRO license by lowering the status of another user. This is fine.

However it will also lower the status of another user who has already started the meeting with a PRO license and is still hosting the meeting. This is certainly bad. Could we prevent this otherwise what is the point of this feature?

@kelvin 2020: There is a "Redefine licenses" setting that you can turn off. In theory, the license juggling is designed to take the license from the "least recently used" person.

    Hi
The zoom plugin is sending notifications messages to the teacher. Is there a way to stop it?
    Thanks in advance

@Carlos: I'm fairly confident that the Zoom plugin does not send notification messages. Instead, these notifications messages are likely being sent by Zoom. You can customize the Zoom notifications directly in the Zoom administration website. https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/360061223431-Receiving-email-notifications

    Hi IEC Puebla,

Are you setting up the Zoom plugin for the first time? Or, has the Zoom plugin been working for you and it has stopped working?

If you are setting up the Zoom plugin for the first time, please make sure that you have create a JWT app: https://marketplace.zoom.us/docs/guides/build/jwt-app
At this time, we do not have support for an OAuth app.

    Hi IEC Puebla,

If you have a new Zoom account, you may need to set it up again. The pre-existing meetings might not work if you are using a new account. I hope you are able to get it fixed!

Does anyone know what the daily API limit is for the zoom integration? After a period of creating zoom meetings on the Moodle, I am getting an error screen telling me I have reached the daily API limit, and have to wait until the next day before I can continue.

    Hi Dave Foord,

Specifically for creating and updating meetings, the current limit appears to be 100 total changes per user, per day: https://marketplace.zoom.us/docs/api-reference/rate-limits#daily-meeting-createupdate-requests

There are other details about the API limits on that same page and the limits depend on your Zoom overarching account type (Pro vs Business/Enterprise/Education).

Hi, I have two problems with this plug-in.
    1. The webinar option appears disabled.

    2. Can I do several meetings or webinars at the same time in different courses? That is to say: in course 1 at 2:00 pm there will be a webinar. And on the same day, at 2:00 pm, in course 2, there will be a meeting.
