This module allows you to schedule, host, and attend WebEx meetings from within Moodle. You can manage and view recordings for the meetings from with Moodle as well.

Features
The WebEx Meeting activity allows Moodle to seamlessly integrate with WebEx.

Seamlessly creates users for meeting hosts.
Schedule meetings simply by adding the activity.
Host or join meeting from within Moodle.
Hosts can view a sharable link for non-Moodle users to join the meeting.
Recordings are automatically associated with the activity, allowing students (or teachers) to go back and view past sessions from within the activity.
Ability to hide, rename, or delete recordings from an activity.
Admins can use the module to help manage all recordings in WebEx.

Current Limitations
This software is currently in beta, so there are a number of known limitations (and there are expected to be unfound bugs):

Backup and Restore do not work.
Only Training Center and Meeting Center are supported.

I successfully realized the integration with the plugin. But my only problem is that I can't see the recordings over the moodle. What should I do for it?

I installed the lastest 3.8.0 into my Moodle version 3.8.3 but I had an error "
Coding error detected, it must be fixed by a programmer: WebEx exception 000001 when creating new user.". Could you help me to resolve this bug? thanks so much.

Thank you for the nice plugin. I have tested it with Moodle 3.9. I found two unusual behavior.
1. Domain
I tested this plugin from two domains. Registered in Webex site and not.
The results were same.
Once the error was shown 'not registered domain'.
After back page by browser, then click activity,
Webex starts from both domains.
I think only registered site can connect.

2. Editing the activity
Making the activity and saving.
Then editing the meeting time, but the changing did NOT affected.

Hi,
Thanks for this great plug-in. I have installed it successfully. However, the recording are not saved in the admin account from my organization but in my private account that I use as a person. Do you have any ideas what might be wrong with the set-up? I would like the recordings to be saved in the admin account that we use as a team as well.

And the second question I have. I have clicked to manage all recordings in the Webex cloud. Now I have access to recordings I do not need. If I delete them from Moodle, I just delete them from the learning management system. They will still be available in the Webex Cloud, right?

Hello, I have a problem with the plugin, I am just testing it but when I create a resource when I save and exit I get the following error:

More information about this error

(in more information it says that this page does not exist yet)

Marc - This indicates a curl connection error for 'malformed url'. Likely that you have an incorrect value in the site name setting. This would be better off in the discussion https://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=255736 (I didn't notice I wasn't subscribed to that, but I am now).

We are receiving the next error when starts a sesion like host - Error occurred in Webex processing XML: 060002 An in-progress session cannot be updated or deleted.
If there are multiple instructors in one course, each instructor will only be able to start, edit, and delete the meetings that they created, and will not be able to do so for meetings created by other instructors. Would it be possible to modify the plugin knowing this?

Hello! We have a different version of the moodle - 3.11, if we download the 3.9 version, will it fit in our moodle?

Hi,
Webex announced the End-of-Support (EoS) date is planned for the second half of 2023 for XML API.
Cisco will continue to resolve bugs up to this date, but new features will only be implemented for the REST APIs suite.

Is there plans this plugin to be rewritten to use the new Rest Api with json objects?

Hello. This module does not appear to work correctly in php8.0. I have opened an issue on the github site, however, tha activity (or lack thereof) on the codebase, and its long standing "beta" state, appear to indicate that the module may no longer be maintained. Any thoughts/news/indications?

Hello. I would like to report a problem with the office hours in the Moodle 4.2.2. The meeting duration and meeting buffer does not work correctly. Whatever we tried it set the meeting duration by default for 15 minutes without buffer. So we are forced to have only 15 minutes meeting duration without any break or to use "add availability" option in section "set weekly hours".
