The OfficeGrader Project provides a way for students to use a Moodle site to submit Microsoft Excel/Word/PPT/Access documents for automated grading by the commercial OfficeGrader application suite (www.officegrader.com). The OG Project plugin also retrieves grades from the OfficeGrader grading server and posts them to the Moodle site. NOTE: NOT CURRENTLY BEING SUPPORTED

The OfficeGrader application suite (www.officegrader.com) is a third-party commercial software that grades Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access student assignments by comparing the student submission to a key file. The OfficeGrader Project Moodle plugin connects OfficeGrader with a Moodle site so that instructors do not need to keep track of student files and manually upload grades and marked-up graded files to the Moodle site.

With the OfficeGrader Project plugin, students simply submit their assignments to the appropriate OG Project activity, and their grades and marked-up graded files are automatically uploaded into the Moodle site as they become available. The plugin seamlessly delivers student submissions to the OfficeGrader grading server and retrieves grades and graded files without instructor intervention.

Thanks Sarah for sharing the plugin with the community. While starting to review it, I ran into some issues so I was not able to run it on the testing environment. Please find details described in your issue tracker (#1 failure on PostgreSQL, #2 incorrect supported version specified).

Is there a way we could get a temporary access to the services provided by the http://officegrader.com/ suite so that we can test the module features?

I am marking this as needing more work for now. Thanks for your patience with the review and approval process.

Thanks Sarah for the updated version. I was able to successfully test the basic functionality of the plugin from the Moodle's side of the integration (exporting to ogin and importing grade from ogout directories). In your tracker, I left a suggestion for hardening access to graded submissions to avoid same mistakes that early versions of the Assignment module did. Generally I found the code well structured and crafted with respect to the Moodle coding style and best practice. Well done on that!

You are cleared to land now. Welcome to the plugins directory!

Hi Sarah, thanks for this plugin - does this work with moodle 3.0?

Yes, the plugin works with Moodle 3.0. It does use a function that has been deprecated in Moodle 3.0 (moodleform_mod::add_intro_editor()), which means that if you have the debugging messages on your site set to DEVELOPER level, a notice may appear about the deprecated function.

Hi Sarah, I'm still confused how the teacher give the score for the student like your screenshoot?
