I don't know if it is a general problem... but the option "Allow students to edit this mind map" when I disable it, doesn't work... Studets still have the possibility to edit the mindmap... I'm on Moodle 3.11.3+ (Build: 20211008)

Hi, sorry to bother you again. Is there any chance you can change the version number that is supported to include 3.11 I have just updated moodle again and it has not installed your plugin during the upgrade as moodle thinks it will only work on versions up to 3.8. If you can change the version it supports to 3.11, the next time we update it, which we do most weeks, it will install automatically. Thank you.

What permissions need changing to make this an individual activity, we are having big GDPR issues with students saving content and overriding other content

You can make use of the Moodle core module permissions for students to see the mindmap. It is meant to be a collaborative module.

Thanks for the reply, we are having students using the mind map inappropriately and ruining it for everyone, this is why we would like it to be an individual task, or at least have the option added in. For the time being it is unfeasible to use this plugin but would love to keep using it in the future if this change could be made.

We have just noticed the same issue and due to GDPR have uninstalled it GUTTED. We use moodle 3.11.5. It updated automatically now, so thanks. This plugin is perfect for mind maps, but students are losing work left right and centre as they save over each other's work. This is so sad as our sample students rated it 10 out of 10 for an online mind map creator based on our recent survey. We cant use the group function as that is already used for something else. For it to work for us it needs to be per individual or have the options of collaborative or individual in the settings. If you have it on your site, it's an amazing plugin, but please check how you use it, as it could be a GDPR issue and may have to be removed until it's restricted. I am so gutted as it's a fantastic plugin. I understand it was probably not meant for individuals but it is perfect for it, our schools loved it. Please fix it.

Hi, I put a message on here 5 months ago and I wondered if you would consider allowing students to create their own mindmaps, it is such a good plugin but sadly, it currently breaks UK GDPR rules, so we are unable to use it. Will you be making a moodle 4 version? Maybe the feature could be added to that?

Is it possible to import or export mindmap file compatible with some common formats such as freemind?

Yes. Even now it works with Moodle 4 without any problems.
Right now there are no plans to create import/export option but perhaps in the next update i will come up with something.

Hello Tonis! I see that you wrote that this plugin works on 4th version; meaning it would also work on 4.1, right?
