INSTALL FROM GIT
- Navigate to Moodle root folder
- git clone git://github.com/dmonllao/moodle-mod_journal mod/journal

INSTALL FROM A COMPRESSED FILE
- Extract the compressed file data
- Rename the main folder to journal
- Copy to the Moodle mod/ folder
- Click the 'Notifications' link on the frontpage administration block

  2. Download and unpack the module.
  3. Place the folder (eg "assignment") in the "mod" subdirectory.
  4. Visit http://yoursite.com/admin to finish the installation
