This module allows for the dynamic generation of certificates based on predefined conditions set by the teacher. NOTE: This plugin is no longer receiving any new features. Only bug fixes are being applied. I have been working on a new plugin which can be located at https://moodle.org/plugins/mod_customcert which allows complete customisation of the PDF via the browser, whereas this plugin requires FTP and PHP knowledge. Both plugins can be installed on a site at once with no issues.

    Hello, I have been trying to get the report_my_certificates report to work on my 2.8 installation without any success. Is there a working solution for moodle admins to get a report of all issued certificates for all courses? Does anyone know of an ad-hoc sql report that might work?

    Hi.

    Currently, the "$plugin->release" setting the "version.php" file doesn't contain a user-friendly version number as expected. It is defined as follows:

    $plugin->release = "Stable"; // User-friendly version number

    This makes it difficult for Moodle admins to manage their certificate plugin. Can this be changed to something more meaningful that is maintained each time there is a new release of the plugin? Something like "2.9.4 (Build - 2015083108)" would be ideal.

    Thanks.

    The certificate seems to be working great, except that it won't print the grade. It says "Grade - " Any thoughts??

    I am having trouble finding the correct location to change the "Certificate of Achievement" to "Certificate of Completion" on the generated certificate. I have tried modifying the certificate.php file in mod/certificate/lang/en and I have restarted PHP. No change. Any thoughts?

    I need to create a certificate for each assignment . Each assignment has at least 3 outcomes . The outcomes are measured with a scale ( reached / not reached ) . I wish it were printed on the certificate all the outcomes and their evaluation . It's possible?
    From my attempts seems that I can print a maximum one outcome and the corresponding assessment, but only if it is numeric . Can you help me?

    Hi Mark,
    I have some students with names in Arabic. Their names in the certificates appear all question marks. Is there a way to solve this?

    Regards,
    Chris

    Hi Chris,
    Regarding characters appearing as question marks, we solved the problem by going to the certificate settings in the course and changing the certificate type (under Design options) to A4 Embedded.

    I have been trying to use the certificate plugin, which with a little customization meets my needs. However, with the latest update of the plugin I realize that the effort to put back my customizations could become very great. So, what I would really like to see is the ability to customize the position, the style and the content of EVERY element on the certificate. While the plugin does allow a very limited number of customizations, they are simply not sufficient. Any chance of adding such changes?
