Activities ::: mod_certificate
Maintained by Mark Nelson
This module allows for the dynamic generation of certificates based on predefined conditions set by the teacher.
NOTE: This plugin is no longer receiving any new features. Only bug fixes are being applied. I have been working on a new plugin which can be located at https://moodle.org/plugins/mod_customcert which allows complete customisation of the PDF via the browser, whereas this plugin requires FTP and PHP knowledge. Both plugins can be installed on a site at once with no issues.

With the defaults you can already create good certificates.
If you want more you certainly have to create your own certificate type which is quite simple.
Tip: I use the custom text to display the course topics instead of using it for different teacher names.
This plugin works there with Moodle 2.0.2 and PHP 5.2.16 ?

Coding errors (or coding_exceptions) are problems that are problably caused by incorrect code. For example a plugin that does not communicate correctly with Moodle core.
These errors are normally not caused by incorrect user input or temporary problems like the connection to the database server being down.
This is the error I get when I try to access the certificate after I do a "save and display" Moodle 2.1.3+
Brad - Can you please turn on debugging on your Moodle site and print the stacktrace so I can see where the error is occurring?
