Hi Rob, you need to edit booking instance and remove it manually, as deleting it from institutions don't remove from booking instance.

Hi Rob, indeed there is a problem. This has to do with buggy implementation of the autocompletion field in Moodle. This will never be fixed by Moodle, except if someone does it on his or her own https://tracker.moodle.org/browse/MDL-57680 But it is possible to fix it in the booking module. I will have a look at that during the next days. Kind regards, David

I have now installed this on two separate Moodle sites running 3.3.2. On both sites, when I select the Add to Calendar option when creating the booking, it clears when I initially save the booking. I go back in and check it again and this time the setting is retained but, in both instances, the event never shows up on the calendar. I have tried different themes. I am just not sure what I might be missing...everything else seems to be working as intended - just no calendar event.

Dear Emma, which version of the booking module do you use? You have to book the actual booking option in order to make it appear in the calendar. Just adding a booking option won't add the date to the calendar. Kind regards, David

I actually tried that but it still didn't appear. However, if that is the design, then I will not continue testing as I was really hoping that I could use this as an event management kind of thing and that all bookings would show up on the calendar. Not sure if you would be interested in developing that for me - if so, send me a PM and we can discuss.

Hi David, My teachers pointed out that when they Book other users, they leave the page as soon as the Add button is pushed. This is with the latest release. In past versions, it would stay on the page and allow them to search for more students. I have told them to use the Back button for now.

Thank you Andraž. I looked on Github hoping to see what was changed, but I could not find anything. Would you mind sharing the fix? If it is an easy code hack, I would like to apply it on my site. Thanks.

Dear Rob. The fix has not passed quality assurance yet and this will last still a while, because the new version will add also new features and there is still a lot to do before the release.

    Dear,
I have installed the Booking in the Moodle 3.1.6.
However, the booking.ics from the Booking activity is not working ok. It creates a new calendar in outlook. There is any way to have directly the correct .ics so the students can have the calendar invitation in their Outlook?
    Thank you,
    Cristina

Dear Christina, I do not think that is a problem of the booking module. This will help you understand the issue. It is a Microsoft thing. https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/office/forum/office_2007-outlook/icalics-files-creating-new-calendar-instead-of/60ee1860-4654-4487-943f-8e9146791ea7?auth=1

    Kind regards,

Hi David, I just upgraded to the latest Booking release. One of my teacher noticed that the .csv export no longer shows the student username. Is there a way to get it back? We use the student ID number for username and teachers use that to look up students in our school information system. Thanks in advance.

Hi again David, Disregard may last comment. I found in the setting that the export is now customizable. Great work. Thanks.

Hi David. Can I set the active booking to show only the multiple date sessions in the calendar (need for many repeating courses) ? Thank you.

Hi David, thanks for the great plugin. I am currently struggling to import booking options using the .csv importing fuctionality. I have read the documentation and followed the steps. I get a wrong file! error in Moodle.
