This local plugin uses SabreDAV, a WebDAV framework for PHP, to map the Moodle Files API into DAV Resources and Collections: the result is a virtual file system representing how Moodle organizes your resources.

DAVRoot uses the Moodle Files API EXCEPT when folders/files will be renamed: using DAVRoot "should" be as safe as manipulating files using Moodle. Browsing (read-only access) is the safest option: more info at MDL-30946.

I've asked Matteo to clarify the mixed licensing (modified BSD license) along with GPL in the root of the zip file in either a LICENSE file or in the README file before approving. Peace - Anthony

Hi I followed the four steps

Make sure you have all the required versions.
    Download and unpack the module.
Place the folder (eg "mylocal") in the "local" subdirectory.
Visit http://yoursite.com/admin to finish the installation

However, now I don't know how to use it. I see it installed under the local plugins on my moodle but there is nothing showing how to put files into it.
    Please help.
