Configurator provides a page for viewing and editing configuration values for the core system and installed plugins.  It is primarily designed for use with plugins that don't have full support for settings.php (i.e. they allow configuration of inital settings but dont have a page for editing them afterwards), but may have other uses.

After installing, you can access the Configurator from the settings block under Development->Experimental.  Please use with extreme care - whatever value you enter will be saved in the config or config_plugins table as appropriate when you click Save Changes.  If you enter a value that would break your system, it wont stop you.  For this reason, usage of the plugin is restricted to site adminitrators.

This plugin is no longer maintained

I am no longer maintaining this plugin. It may still work with new versions of Moodle, but I won't be updating or or fixing issues.  If you are interested in taking over maintenance of this plugin, please get in touch.
