Dropout Detective integrates with a school’s existing learning management systems and analyzes student performance and behavior across ALL courses in which they may be enrolled. In a very similar manner to the way your personal credit score is calculated, we assign a single Risk Index Score to each student. We then present an easy-to-read dashboard to the school so that student outreach and support can be quickly prioritized and delivered.

Hi. Thanks for sharing the plugin with the Moodle community. The source code URL is invalid, there is no such report. Additionally, please provide a link to a place where users can report issues with your plugin. It does not necessarily be a bug tracker (althoug it is preferred). Probably you have a support contact page set up that could be eventually used.

May I ask for fixing these formal issues first before we start with the full code review. Thanks.

Thanks Kim. Please note we do not pull automatically from your github. You have to explicitly release a new plugin version here by "Upload a new version" button. Would you like to add a new version now? I was just about to go and review the code of your plugin.

by what criteria is the risk assessment set? is it customizable by the end user (institution) or preset by AspireEdu only?

Joseph -- The algorithm behind the Risk Index Score looks at grades, number of missing assignments, last submission date of an academic activity, last course access date, last LMS access date and a number of other data points. We also review the number of courses a student is taking, is there an auto-drop policy, where we are in the term, and the overall number of assignments in the course. So to a degree, the algorithm is self-correcting -- very much like a credit score.
