Rubrics Grading Report

View any assignment's full rubrics results, broken down per criteria, for all your course students in a one pager downloadable view, thus supporting standardised grading. Forum gradings are also reportable.

The Rubrics grading report plugin allows teachers and managers to drill down past a student’s overall advanced graded mark received, and to view all their students' grades and comments for all the criteria from the relevant rubric used for advanced grading.

When an assignment or forum is graded using a rubric, there is lots of useful information recorded per student, for all of the criteria used for grading. This information is useful for knowing what areas the student, or students have done well in, for instance, or where their performances may need improvement. Criterion grades can also include specific comments, which can also be very helpful for tracking and supporting learning progression.

Instead of only seeing this granular advanced grading information inside each student's grading page for the activity using Moodle's core UI, you can now view and download this information for all your students in one go.

This rubrics grading report is also conveniently located with the other standard course grade reports.

Installation

Install this plugin in the /grade/report folder, named as “rubrics” folder.

Hi Brickfield Labs, We are using your plugin here at Vancouver Community College to help redesign assessment of dental hygiene students. We can now assess them on multiple competencies and can identify issues much earlier than previously (when high stakes exams or overall rubric scores were used). A really useful improvement in the plugin would be the ability to export multiple rubric results (i.e. from multiple Assignments that use the same rubric) in a single report. Right now we are exporting individual rubric reports to excel and then using the xls to create individual tabs for each student so we can see their longitudinal progression in different rubric criteria.
