This plugin provides users with the most important part of an exam/quiz, i.e, analytics. Every attempt each user makes on a quiz is scrutinised and relevant data are portrayed via visually appealing graphs.

The graphs are distributed under the following tabs:

Attempt Summary- This tab contains the logged in user's statistics for the last attempt he/she made on that quiz. In case of quizzes allowing single attempt, that attempt is considered the last attempt.

My Progress and Predictions- This tab contains several sub-tabs which as a whole gives the idea of how the logged in user has fared over time and the hardest question he/she faced. There's also a tab specifically for quizzes offering multiple attempts to show the logged user a predictive analysis depending on other users' attempts and best scores.

Question Categories' Analysis- This tab is dedicated to the categories/tags all the questions are associated with. The graphs here in the sub-tabs shows the question distribution among categories and also an idea of how challenging each of the categories proved to be.

Scores' and Questions' Stats- This tab contains two  sub tabs, one showing the number of students in each grade category and the other providing a throtough analysis of all the questions present in the quiz.

There is a settings panel to help admin configure the plugin to best fit their requirement.

    Hi! Alif,
Thanks for reaching out to us.
We have checked it on our server but it was working fine.
Please visit this link: https://moodle.org/plugins/pluginversions.php?plugin=gradereport_quizanalytics and make sure that your "Quiz Analytics" plugin version is "2017081615".

Then go to Site administration / ► Appearance / ► Themes / ► Theme selector / ►Activate moodle default theme "Clean".

Now go to Site administration / ► Development / ► Debugging / ►Debug messages / ►Select "DEVELOPER: extra Moodle debug messages for developers" and check the "Display debug messages" field then click on the "Save changes" button.

    Clear all the caches.

Click on the "view analytics" link.

If any error occurs, please share with us the error message.

    Thank you.

    Hi DC Team,
    Thanks for your feedback.
    Working fine in M3.4.2
We have been testing the plugin with students ( 15-16 year-old). They reported information is excessive, so we have decided to adapt the plugin ( is this correct?), and to reduce the amount of info (only 4 graphs and shorter texts).
We are going to test it again

thank you for this wonderful plugin.

I am trying to create an sql report that retrieves some of the data that is showing on the Quiz analytics report, especially the Question Categories Analysis tab. Can anyone please give guidance on the database tables names that are related to this plugin?
    thanks

    Hi DC Team

I got this notice :Note: The aggregation method "Sum of grades" has been changed to "Natural" as part of a site upgrade. Since "Sum of grades" was previously used in this course, it is recommended that you review this change in the gradebook.

I have changed the Grade category settings to natural. is there anything else i need to do?

    thanks

    Hi!! Blessing,
As it seems, you have changed the grading method and for that, you are getting the notification. This is not related to our plugin.

    Thank you.

    Dear DualCube Team,

    Thank you for this plugin.

Kindly can the analysis be viewed by Instructors too and not just for students.
this will give them additional information for the quiz analysis, especially category analysis.

    Best regards,
    Anis

    Hi! Anis,
    Thanks for the appreciation.
This analytics plugin only lets you view the logged in users' own analytics. So a teacher or a student can only see his/her own quiz analytical statistics and it is not built to use any competency/ category settings.

If you want to view the student's analytics as a teacher, we would need to custom develop/modify the plugin.

If you are determined to have it customized to suit your need, you can send an email to admin@dualcube.com.

    Thank you.
    Sincerely,
    Suman,
    Team Dualcube

    Hey DualCube Team,

Thanks so much for this fantastic plugin! It's just what we were looking for.

Is there a way to configure the "Question Category Analysis" to report based on a percentage of the question instead of wrong or unattempted?
In our quizzes, we're using Cloze multiple choice embedded questions, where the answers are worth a percentage of a 100, so there's never a wrong answer, they're always worth at least 25%. Because of this when we try to use the "categories analysis" all of the categories have the same percentage.

    Is there any workaround this?

    Thanks again!
