The recent files block provides a moodle block which shows a configurable number of the most recently uploaded or modified files (mod_resource) and folders (mod_folder) in the course resources of the courses the user is enrolled in with a startdate somewhere within 1-12 months (configurable) from the current date, thereby filtering possibly stale courses. It also provides an option for the user to pin files and folders for later reference.

Thanks Ömer for sharing this block with the community. I found the provided functionality useful and was able to successfully declared features of the plugin. The overall coding style is clean and easy to follow - well done on that. While reviewing the plugin, I found couple of places that will need your attention yet. Please make sure to have developer debugging on while developing your plugins, and pay attention to all notices thrown.

With the hope the raised issues will be fixed soon and a new version provided here, you are cleared to land now. Welcome to the Plugins directory!

Thank you very much for the feedback and clearance! I just updated the plugin and its description to fix the issues and to further clarify the functionality.
