CLAMPMail is a Moodle block that provides selective, bulk emailing within courses. CLAMPMail is a fork maintained by the Collaborative Liberal Arts Moodle Project which sends attachments via email instead of providing a download link within Moodle.

- Overhauled how groups are handled; Separate groups remains the default behavior but the teacher may choose a different mode at the block level. The site administrator may set a default for new blocks.

, which controls whether someone may email all groups regardless of group membership. - The block will now respect the
emailstop
setting in user profiles. - The "there are no users you are capable of emailing" error drops the user on to the course page instead of site home.

Default installation instructions for plugins of the type Blocks
- Make sure you have all the required versions.
- Download and unpack the block folder.
- Place the folder (eg "myblock") in the "blocks" subdirectory.
- Visit http://yoursite.com/admin to complete the installation
- Turn editing on in any home or course page.
- Add the block to the page
- Visit the config link in the block for more options.
