This is a plugin for Atto editor in Moodle that allows the user to paste content from several different rich formatting areas and either import the styling or import as unformatted text. To install, unpack to lib/editor/atto/plugins/pastespecial and visit the admin notifications page to install. Then add the button on that Atto toolbar settings page. The pastespecial settings page can be used to configure the allowed styles when importing formatting.

Pastespecial now "allows" tables (as of version 2016021100). It gets pasted in as normal without any handling. I STRONGLY encourage you to create your tables within Atto, but apparently not enough to artificially prohibit this.

Please, can you add moodle auto-updater to this plugin? We update moodle every week and have to find the plugin when the others all do it automatically. It would save so much time, thank you.

Hello, can you tell us if the plugin will support version 3.6 of Moodle in a near future ?

It seems nothing has evolved on this plugin since more than 3 years, and several people are waiting for a maintained version, compatible with latest Moodle versions.
It should certainly be considered as to be adopted :
If someone wants to work on it, don't hesitate to do the necessary.

If this was being maintained, I'd feature request a mode that gives the user no options and just strips all formatting. That is, "Paste as Plain Text" as per MS Office and TinyMCE.

It appears that the source repository on github has gone private...

Is there any chance you make the plugin so that when you update moodle it automatically downloads the plugin as part of the upgrade? This would save so much time as currently when you upgrade it just says, "Additional Missing from disk!". Thank you so much.

Please can you update the version this plugin supports to 3.11, this will mean that moodle will automatically install it during an update?

Hi, sorry to bother you again. Is there any chance you can change the version number that is supported to include 3.11 I have just updated moodle again and it has not installed your plugin during the upgrade as moodle thinks it will only work on versions up to 3.0. If you can change the version it supports to 3.11, the next time we update it, which we do most weeks, it will install automatically. Thank you.

Hi, please could you update the supported version number for moodle to moodle 4. This means that each week when we update moodle, the extension will automatically install. Currently, you have to install it manually which takes time. Thank you so much.
