What is the maximum width of banner you could put in the topic 0 section of the Standard theme? Not knowing any coding I don't know where to look but an ex-colleague was wanting to make banners that were neither too small on computer screens or too large, giving horizontal scrolling. I appreciate that everything changes when on tablets/mobiles but she is only thinking for now of how her standard theme course displays on her class computers in school . Thanks

Vous avez peut-être vu que Moodle.com organise un MOOC “Teaching with Moodle“ qui commence le 1 septembre? Pour complémenter les activités et les ressources pédagogiques, j’ai crée 34 tutoriels vidéos - très courts, très simples. Il y a déjà des sous-titres en anglais -et plusieurs Moodle Partners ont proposé de traduire ces sous-titres - par exemple ici -
mais malheureusement rien n’est encore traduit en français... Pourtant il y a déjà une petite communauté francophone sur le forum “Introduce yourself“ http://learn.moodle.net/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=22715
Alors je viens vous demander si certains d’entre vous avez le temps de traduire quelques-unes des vidéos ; il serait dommage de voir des sous-titres en japonais mais non pas en français (pas pour les japonais, bien sûr!) Google vous traduit la vidéo d’abord et je vous envoie le lien - vous n’avez qu’à corriger la traduction de Google! Hi there. I have never used Paypal myself but as a favour am looking into it for a friend. She has a couple of courses where I enabled paypal and the dollar icon is present as I expect. However on some older courses, Paypal also seems to be enabled; all the settings seem to be the same and yet the icon is not present. (There are other enrolment methods too but I don't know if that should make any difference) I have no way of testing if Paypal actually works on those other courses -well, unless I make an account and pay the money - but I wondered if anyone has experience of this issue or if I have set something wrong? I am seeing a syntax error when saving a new course(The course can be saved and everything works but the error appears) File://MOODLESITE/theme/yuicombo...(bla bla) /loader.js Line 18478 and then "stack trace" (with a blank box)
Is there anything that can easily be changed (such as on line 18478) to remove this error? Thanks
