I wonder if it would be very difficult to create a section that is not hidden, but rather simply not displayed to students. This might be a useful new feature.
Maybe we could enter it into the tracker.

Hmmm... I do not see anything about that here - http://docs.moodle.org/en/Choice . Not sure that it is currently possible.
The feedback module does allow this, though.

Well, maybe some Moodlers could chip in a little money to make it happen. for the right price (don't know what that would be), I am sure that some Moodle partner would do it.
