Hi Bob,

I'm not sure what the difference is between a "core developer" and a "core programmer" is, but if I look at the people at Moodle HQ and their access to Moodle forums it seems to me they do spend considerable time here.

They don't always make the decisions I'd like them to but that's life, isn't it? I couldn't always get my mother to see things my way, nor my father, nor my boss, nor my husband not even my friends...

Cheers,

Glenys

Hi Bill and Mary,

Is this now possible in 2.1? In 1.9 I'd understood it had to be all or nothing: either a user can delete all courses - not just their own, or no courses. Is it now possble for a user (teacher, manager... whatever) to delete just their own courses? Or just courses in a certain category?

Very useful but also a little dangerous. Do all teachers realise that if they haven't made a backup, the course is gone for ever?

Cheers,

Glenys

Moodle in English -> Forum -> Archiving a forum -> Re: Archiving a forum

oleh Glenys Hanson -

Hi Eugene,

I don't know how to do this on the standard forum, but in ForumNG, a contributued module in Moodle 1.9 (I understand it will soon be available for Moodle 2), you can export a forum to Word as an archive. And that's just one of its many advantages - I've listed some of them in this discussion: ForumNG: advantages and disadvantages

You can download it from Google docs: forumng.2.34.zip.

Cheers,

Glenys

Bonsoir Daniel,

Cheers,

Glenys
