Bonjour,

Hello Gordon,
Thanks for taking the time to reply. I do understand that it's in our best interest that you devote yourself to the new version. I haven't had any student complaints recently so the problems are not so urgent.
10 times faster! That's amazing! I'm really impatient to see it. Just let me know when you need beta testers.
I'm not sure whether this has been mentioned before but one thing that happens in Moodle HP that frustrates the serious, reflective students, is the automatic scoring and disappearance of the exercise as soon as it is completed. The scoring is not a problem in itself of course, but it seems to be linked to the exercise disappearing. (Of course, it's possible to see the completed exercise again by hitting the browser back button, but most of my students are not techie enough to do this.) In the new version, will students be able to decide when they are ready for the exercise to be scored and disappear?
Over on the French forum there's currently a discussion comparing Moodle quizzes and Hot Potatoes exercises. I don't use the Moodle quizzes except for testing, so it was news to me that in those quizzes students can see the details their mistakes in each of their attempts and refer to them at a later date. This seems very pedagogically useful. Will it also be possible in the new HP version?
Don't take time off the new version to answer me. Treat my questions as rhetorical.
All the best,
Glenys

Amicalement,
Glenys

Hello there,
As you want to be able to give them a grade, why not have them upload their mp3 file in an Assignment?
