Hi there,

Surely this isn't normal, is it? Seems to put a heavy burden on Helen.

In Moodle 1.9 it was very easy to to unenrol oneself from a "course" one had enrolled in: In the Administration block there was a link to click on.

Now I see that if a go to a forum on moodle.org I'm not already enrolled in, it's quite easy to enrol. Example :

And I can just as easily unenrol myself from Business Uses by clicking on settings because I see:

But I can't unerol myself from Using Moodle in the same way, only from each of the component forums.

It's not really transparent what is a "Course" and what is a "Forum".

Hope someone can clarify this.

Cheers,

Glenys

Hi John,

I create my exercises/quizzes in Hot Potatoes and import them easily into Moodle 1.9 through the Hot Pot Module or QuizPort and into Moodle 2 through the Hot Pot Module (TaskChain the sequel to QuizPort for Moodle 2 coming soon). Hot Potatoes exercises can be Scormed or imported into the Moodle Quiz module.  I've never used Blackboard, but years ago I seem to remember incoporating them into WebCT no problem.

I'm a bit of a control freak: who knows if Moodle or Blackboard will be here 10 years from now, but as long as there's an Internet with some form of html, Hot Potatoes pages can be put on it.

I've also started to explore Xerte which can be presented through QuizPort or stand alone in Moodle.
