I am currently working on improving the ergonomics of the H5P Drag and drop question type. Which leads me to have a closer look at Moodle's own Drag and drop onto image" question type. I have already posted on the topic here. Now I have 2 questions/suggestions.
1.- Editing a Moodle D&D question, after inserting a certain number of Draggable items and Drop zones and saving that question, I do not see an option to remove some of those items and zones.
2.- When editing a Moodle D&D question, a teacher can preview the question, and can "Fill in correct responses", which is very useful. However, if a Quiz's Review options's "Right answer" option is checked, the student only sees the feedback message : correct/incorrect answer. I would expect the "Right answer" option to work the same as in Teacher edit mode, i.e. move all the draggable items to their correct drop zones.
Thanks to Mary Cooch (Hi Mary!) for removing my previous (copyrighted) attachment pictures. I am attaching a new set of pictures to illustrate my customized use of the Drag & Drop onto picture question type.
I find the new pic of human body muscles less "sexy" than the one I had used in my previous message, but at least it is Open Source. Here are the details:

For my demonstration purposes I have only erased the right-hand part of the legend (and blurred out the left part).
Screen-shots 1 & 2 show the result of using the default Drag & Drop onto picture question settings. They illustrate the overlapping problem which takes place when the draggable text items are dragged to their respective zones.
Screen-shots 3 & 4 show the result of using the customized CSS rules, as per my previous post. No visible overlapping, no annoying boxes, the result is exactly the same as the original legend.
It's a pity that one has to resort to such additional CSS rules, which can only be added by a Moodle site Admin, and of course will not suit all types of D & D questions. I suggest that optional settings be made available within the editing interface of such questions, to make them more flexible.
